I'm one of those people that will suggest breakfast dates. What does that say about me?
There's something about breakfast dates that are just different to normal dinner-and-a-movie dates.
I love breakfast dates, because you can wear anything from your active wear, to maxi skirts and heels, and everything will be appropriate.
Breakfast dates means getting up early, but heading out after (or before!) the morning grind of traffic, if you're fortunate enough to be able to do breakfast on a week day! Breakfast dates are often the motivation to get through a morning run, promising something delicious, salivating, and often 'healthy' as a reward for getting up that hill.
Breakfast dates means the glorious smell of coffee, and the array of options for breakfast food, sweet or savoury, waffles or omelettes, smoothies or lattes. Breakfast dates means experimenting with flavours (caramel popcorn and pomegranate waffles?), or opting for a traditional eggs benny, and you'll never be disappointed.
Breakfast dates means having the option of inviting your mum, besties, clients, or significant other along, and they can all be an appropriate breakfast date. It can be casual, fancy, or anything in between, which is the total beauty of breakfast dates.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing like a good old fashioned fancy dinner, but there really isn't anything like a classic breakfast with really good company.
